BREAKING: Baylor lands 2020 defender Anthony Anyanwu

One day after receiving an offer from Baylor, 2020 defensive prospect Anthony Anyanwu‍ (6-3, 230) gave his verbal commitment to the Bears. The Sachse (TX) High School prospect is being recruited as a potential MIKE linebacker or a RUSH end in Phil Snow’s defensive scheme.

Anyanwu is Baylor’s third commitment in the last two days joining safety Chateau Reed‍ (Lawton, OK/Lawton) and cornerback AJ McCarty‍ (Brownwood). All three picked up offers after recent camp performances.
