Thanks to COVID-19 many people are staying at home and practicing social distancing with no sports entertainemnt to watch. Since March Madness was cancelled there has been this need to watch some of the best re-runs possible. So if you are looking to quench that need each week while we wait you can check out my Games of the Week on SicEm365. Some weeks will be old school flashbacks, others will be super recent and then some will be a mix. This week is a loaded list of some of my favorite Baylor matchups I have watched in person to go along with an amazing comeback. So sit back and enjoy some of the best Baylor matchups ever as the weeks progress!

Let’s check out the games for this week...

2019 Baylor vs Iowa State Football

The Bears started off the season 3-0 but were just coming off a terrible performance against Rice so the national media had major question marks. Baylor build up a 20-0 lead before a huge comeback occurred and an unlikely hero sealed the deal.

2019 Baylor vs Kansas Basketball

The Bears had this one circled coming into the season and boy oh boy did they come out looking like it as they quickly built a 13-point lead at the half. Thanks to stifling defense and an offense carried by two hot-shooting guards, the Scott Drew-led Bears were able to take care of Kansas in Allen Fieldhouse for the the first time ever. This win will go down in history and is one of the major bright spots in what many would call a lost season due to the NCAA Tournament’s cancellation.

2016 Baylor vs Iowa State Basketball

Baylor started the season 11-3 but there were still many doubters as to how good this team really was, well they answered that in this big road matchup. A young big man had his coming out party and a veteran guard racked up 11 assists in the game. Oh also these two teams combined for 111 points in the 2nd half as Baylor knocked off one of the more loaded Iowa State teams ever with three NBA players.

2018 Big 12 Championship Game Baseball (Baylor vs. TCU)

A two-run bomb in the top of the 8th gave the Horned Frogs a one-run lead. Baylor tied it up in the bottom of the ninth on one of the craziest blunders in Big 12 tournament history. The roller coaster of a game had a climatic finish as well. This one will go down in history as an amazing game and Baylor’s first Big 12 Baseball Tournament title.

Blowout of the Week

2013 NIT Championship (Baylor vs. Iowa)

The Bears had a stretch where they lost six out of eight in conference play but demolished #4 Kansas to close off the regular season. This team desperately needed a win in the Big 12 Tournament but fell 72-74 against #14 Oklahoma State. This sent the Bears to the NIT where they rolled through the competition with wins over, Cal State Long Beach (112-66), Arizona State (89-86), Providence (79-68), and BYU (76-70) all the way to a finals matchup with Iowa.

Baylor’s two bigs and elite point guard dominated the matchup as Isaiah Austin, Corey Jefferson, and Pierre Jackson combined for 55 points, 21 rebounds, 14 assists, three steals, and six blocks. This was a night to remember and if you watch the highlights you will see dunks on dunks on dunks for the Bears.
