For Today- "Beware the Ides of March" … .probably just another dope-smoking rock'n'roll band! But I bought the 8-track!

This song has one of the filthiest riffs I've ever heard in it. Like an anachronism, a metal riff in a pop song.

Used to be a staple of the Courtside Players at BU hoops games; miss hearing it in that setting.

I love this little tribute to J J. Cale from Eric and friends… "They Call me the Breeze"

I had always heard it mentioned JJC had a big influence on Knopfler.

Then I heard finally JJC, and really cant tell them apart at many moments.

And the influence on Clapton is very noticeable as well.

En vrit, je te le dis: aujourd'hui avec moi tu seras dans le paradis (Lc 23,43). Phrase adresse un des deux malfaiteurs, en rponse sa demande souviens-toi de moi quand tu viendras dans ton royaume. Jsus rpond ici au besoin d'un mourant.

Femme, voici ton fils. Fils, voici ta mere (Jean 19,2627). Parole adresses sa mere et son disciple Jean. Au-del du devoir filial ainsi accompli,comme la maternit spirituelle de Marie vis--vis des croyants represents par le disciple qu'il aimait.

De nombreux psaumes parlent des souffrances physiques du Seigneur (Ps 22), d'autres des souffrances morales (Ps 88). C'est la seule parole dite par Jsus durant les heures de tnbres. Durant celles-ci, il parle son Dieu et non pas son Pere.

Jesus dit, pour que toute l'criture s'accomplisse: J'ai soif (Jn 19,28). Jesus dit cette parole apres avoir pass 6 heures sur la croix. Elle montre que le Seigneur a connu toutes les souffrances d'un crucifi. Ce cri met en evidence son humanit.

Tout est accompli (Jn 19,30). Phrase prononce aprs qu'il eut pris le vinaigre. Mission accomplie et paix retrouve. Jsus s'est offert pour nous sauver.

Jesus poussa un grand cri: Pere, entre tes mains je remets mon esprit (Lc 23,46). Et sur ces mots il expira. C'est Dieu que se rapporte la dernire parole de Jsus comme le fut sa premire : Ne saviez-vous pas qu'il me faut tre chez mon Pre? (Lc 2,49).(49 "Why were you searching for me?" he asked. "Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house?")
