Roach and RayJ are very different styles of PG. RayJ is craftier while Roach is more athletic and explosive in the open court, more of a downhill player, a better shooter from 3, and a better defender.

A side benefit of this signing is it will help Wright's development. We can stagger Wright's minutes with Roach althought I anticipate they will play together some. Wright will still play all the minutes he can handle, but won't have to absorb the pressure of having to carry the team as a true freshman at the PG position.

There's only one year's difference. RayJ was a fifth-year senior and roach was a fourth-year senior.

Both are good players who play completely different games.
