Washington is trying to be too balanced. They aren't going to run against this front. Just isn't going to happen. That's as good as a punt. Let penix throw 60 times. It's the only shot they have. Makes them one dimensional but that's already the case. Polk, Rome and Co can win their matchups all night.
That was a big stop there. If Washington can get a TD here, they can settle things down a little bit and make a game of it.

At this point, Washington's goal should be to get to halftime down one score. They get the ball at half. Just stay in the fight until then.

LSU might object to that second one. Ironically, D3 is dominated by purple teams.
