I didn't think it was a bad game. It was interesting into the fourth quarter. Washington just couldn't ever get going offensively.

Their defense gave their offense chance after chance down seven. They just couldn't ever capitalize.

This. Washington's offense was as one dimensional as it had been throughout the season, and that finally came back to bite them when the passing game wasn't on track. Plus, Penix has been less than 100% most of the game. Regardless and as good as this Washington team is, it's mind boggling that Texas lost to them.

Washington less then 50 yards rush. Michigan 1-9 on 3rd down tries. Yawn.

To each his own. I just wanted a competitive game. And it was one into the fourth quarter.

The Rose Bowl was just too good for this to match up.

Yes, I realize some is related to Michigan's defense, but against Texas Penix Jr. and the receivers were perfect ... every thrown online, didn't drop a ball. Tonight, he was making some bad throws and receivers made a few drops.

Sill feel like Texas wins 8 of 10 games against Washington ...

It was great to have an non-SEC title game.

Yes, it seemed like Penix was either pressured where he didn't have time for the intended receivers further down field to get open, so he threw it short, or he had wide open receivers for likely touchdowns but he strangely couldn't hit the target. I think had he simply been accurate on about two or three of those throws it would have been a completely different game.

Penix had the yips and couldn't shake them - probably cost himself some money

Not a great look between KU's title in 2022 and UM's now. Direct link between major cheating and success.

He was rushed and making bad throws, not even looking at some routes, and just trying to make plays too hard.

That said I hate that this title is tainted and hate JH's comment about being innocent. YOu don't fire an employee and get a suspension for being innocent.

But as we have seen in other sports... cheating is ok if you win it all. Just remember not to use the weed or Performance enhancing drugs.... those are bans for life!
