As per a report I just saw on Reddit.

I can't imagine Oregon or Washington signing anything that either didn't give them a disproportionately higher revenue share than the other Pac schools or a clause that dissolves the GOR if the B1G calls. But, then I couldn't see Arizona, ASU, Utah or CU agreeing to any disproportionate share since they have alternatives too, and I can't see the media partners agreeing to pay big $ for a GOR that is that easily abolished. In short, I think the Pac is basically screwed.

Social media are notoriously inaccurate. However, this makes a lot of sense so may be true.

PAC 12 is toast.

This is true of a lot of people unfortunately. Politics have become the lens through which everything else is viewed. It's sad really because all that does is cause unnecessary anxiety and keep you from enjoying things that might otherwise enrich your life.

I've found that partisan politics -- particularly at the national level -- have very little impact on my day to day life or the interactions I have with those around me. When you can avoid the silly tribal nonsense -- and the reflexive divisiveness that come with it -- it's not difficult at all to coexist and get along quite well with those around you with whom you see things differently.

Actually, blackie, the retired life in my little corner of the world in my shack on Geronimo Creek is pretty good. Sparring on the R & P board is mostly just a hobby. Am hopeful I have 20-30 good years left on this earth, God willing. No way my happiness hinges on which politicians fill the seats in Washington, D.C. That ship has sailed. If I was the Big 12 commissioner I would start wooing the 4 Corners schools like crazy, using their hometown media. Dilettantes in Oregon want more than their share? Come on down where we treat you right.
It's like insurance companies. You may have one you've loved for years, but suddenly they are upping the premiums for no tangible benefit and threatening to cancel your policy if the premium is a day late.

AND…if I were the PAC 12, Big 12 and ACC commissioners along with affiliated FBS conferences and schools, I would explore, jointly, antitrust litigation against the SEC, B1G and the contract-granting networks.
