So we were picked above both BYU and Arizona St in the preseason poll by the Big 12 media. And actually Arizona St was picked DFL 16th.

Two of the three are overachieving. And then there is Dave Aranda.

And just when I thought Dave Aranda was the biggest dumbass coach in the Big 12 lo and behold Arizona St's coach goes for it on 4th and 1 at his on 29 when his team is leading by 4 with 8 minutes to go.

Exactly. It would be nice if we had more of those on our football team. Back when Mcguire was here, he'd get those types. He could spot hidden talent like that.

To me it's astounding when you see how hard those teams play compared to ours. I just don't think our team has much heart at all. Maybe it's a coaching thing and they really are trying, but I don't see much competitive fire out of this year's team. Perhaps that's what happens when you hire an overabundance of mercenaries.

In Pendergrass defense he has yet to play behind an OLine that doesn't stink up the field - especially as far as run blocking goes.
