Obnoxious Colorado Fans in the Student Section

I'm a student at Baylor and went to the game with my boys in the student section right near the 50. I think around midway through the 4th quarter these two ******y Colorado bros somehow got into the section right behind us. Now I'm cool with visiting people coming to the stadium, maybe getting a little rowdy, but these dudes were drunk as hell in the middle of the student section being as loud as possible ****ting on the team, ****ting on the fans, ****ting on the school, everything.

My friend is a super chill Christian dude, never seen him get mad at anyone. But these dudes behind us just unprovoked just started insulting him, insulting his major (My friend's aerospace he's wicked smaht and gonna make crazy cash), etc. Dude tried to do the right thing and just turn the other cheek but the Colorado fan was like "Man is this guy a ****** or something?" and my friend almost threw down with him. Eventually they started making some women nearby them really uncomfortable so they called for security and everyone cheered when these guys got kicked out of the stadium.

Don't know if you all have some other obnoxious fan stories but it made the win all the sweeter.

Y'all need to toughen up. That was an open book test and you called the test monitor. It gets tougher than that going forward.

We almost threw down with some TCU guys back in 2024 while walking into the stadium. They were all bark and no bite though.

Never had any bad other experiences with visiting fans. But we visited Norman in 2022 and we sat in the student section bc we were visiting our fraternity's OU chapter, there was some good trash talking and it got a little physical at times but nothing extreme. But thank goodness the Bears won that one, talked too much trash to lose

It's not the kind of thing that makes you get rowdy and yell at someone. It's more like "oh was that game this month?" kind of thing.

People get upset about calling Baylor people Blue Hairs… then they say something like this.

All of the fans around us were very nice. We had no issues in our area. The prior game, I got to find out how nice the Baylor fans are. I am a TECH grad and wore my shirt. My family all wore BU stuff, and we sat in our season tickets seats. I can't even tell you the number of people that thanked me for coming, told me to have a safe trip home, and even asked if they could get me some water due to the heat. I was very impressed with the BU fans. Last week, I was back in green.

I miss them. Their 4000 rowdy fans were awesome to back-and-forth with in Waco. Their 40 member pep band was LOUD. Memory fades but I think it was the 1957 game when they won their first game here in history.

I always liked Broyles. He was a great assistant for us on our best teams.

Well, when I had to march into their stadium in Little Rock or Fayetteville, I'd get doused with so much beer and shine, it's a wonder I didn't get drunk. Courtside Players, they'd toss coins at us at the HOT Barn.

When they left our conference, they became no different than the University of New Hampshire to me. Just irrelevant in all things. Aggies are getting close to that.

The Colorado fans in my section were nice and knowledgeable. I'm not sure if they were actually from Colorado, or just locals who happen to root for Colorado, or just there to see Prime. They did wear Colorado gear. On occasion we'd chat about a good run or a missed tackle. They were older...about my age...and we had similar rooting styles and football knowledge.

I went to the Nebraska @ CU game in 2019, and CU definitely takes the award for worst fans I've ever encountered. UT fans are a lock on the podium in 2nd place!

I mean, I was just gonna back my buddy up on whatever he decided to do but it just ended after a little shoving. At the end of the day 90% of the time those kinds of frat dudes are all bark ands no bite and I was fine just watching the game than spending the rest of the day getting crapped on by campus police (or the Linda Gestapo we call 'em) for fighting. We both easily had 30lbs on em anyway. We just said f these dudes and moved to a different part of the stands, the game was just getting good.
