Not losing any sleep on this.
Beall was NOT DC at LSU
He was "assistant " secondary coach. When he left, he wasn't even replaced.
Where do folks keep coming up with he was DC??

Could be. I still hope this guy is a whole lot better than Beall.
I've been out at Pebble Beach this week when they hired this fellow, Dave. I missed a couple days worth of posting. Has this LSU/Baylor connection been discussed before?
Beall was hired in 1968. My freshman year at Baylor. That was before the term Defensive Coordinator was even used.

As you know, I got there a year earlier. The main difference is Beall was hired by a faculty committee which was the first mistake.
The second mistake was identifying Bill Beall as a defensive anything, much less a coordinator.
Let's hope Aranda gets the job done, and that he buys some gold hats for the fellows to wear on Saturdays.

Bill Beall was Roger Goree's Little League coach. Roger remains as the only bright spot of Beall's tenure and is at the top of my list of the greatest players ever to wear the green and gold. I remember the day he broke seven helmets tackling Texas Longhorns all-America running back Steve Wooster before they carried Steve off the field on a stretcher.
A coach that was at Baylor before Aranda was even alive is so incredibly relevant...
Interesting note that seems to rattle our easily rattled fanbase. It means nothing but the hyper sensitive cannot handle it.
Could the OP learn how to spell our head coach's name correctly? It's incredibly disrespectful.
