I am currently with Starlink and Youtubetv, and I have no complaints. That's probably a total of $210 a month. What else is out there that you like?

Has anyone had experience with AT&T Internet Air? I'm not sure how that works or the internet speed and reliability.

Don't hold your breath on the cable burial. I'd probably call every day until they bury it.Mr Tulip said:
I've got AT&T's flags in my back yard right now waiting for their install guys to trench and bury the line from the pole. It's a giant back yard, the pole is all the way to the back fence line, and my 2 Great Danes would really enjoy munching the very delicate cable. I'm waiting on install to get the line buried.
If you have access to fiber (there's a really limited area), do it. Fiber is, by nature, symmetrical - meaning you get the same speeds download as you do upload. Most people won't use the upload much (you're not transmitting data), but my wife does Zoom meetings and court appearances constantly. Fiber is also "individual" (you're not sharing that particular bit of network availability with your neighbors) until you reach the aggregator - wherever that is.
I've used Astound (previously Grande) for a long time, and don't have a problem with it. A low latency Gig Down/Up Fiber to the House (FTTH) is too good to pass up. Free install (that alone would have run me over $500) and $30 cheaper than my previous cable set up.

We're about to get Spectrum (in Austin, not Waco). Anyone happy with their service?
we use astound(Grande) and it has been really good for us. youtubetv for steaming. Really happy with youtube except the price keeps going up. At this point, I could probably bundle back to cable and almost be at the same cost.Griz said:

I have just internet with spectrum in Temple. It's been solid. Streaming works fine. Don't have problems with connection speeds. Use Hulu+ for tv.
They managed to get the line in the ground last Friday. To be fair, the guy was just there to bury the line. My access point is the telephone pole at the back of the yard, so it should be out of the way and protected. The other end will be on the wall next to my bedroom. Will use the end of my closet as an air conditioned space to hold the AP and run a high speed cable back to my switching closet (so I don't hafta rebuild the whole thing).hodedofome said:Don't hold your breath on the cable burial. There's still a few cables in my back yard that have not been buried after years. I'm the connection point for all of my neighbors, and more than a few times either myself or one of my kids has cut the cable and turned off the internet for my block. Thankfully, never my AT&T service haha. It's always Spectrum or Astound. I pretend to be ignorant when my neighbors post on the neighborhood facebook group about their internet being down for a few days.
It rings a bell.Griz said:
I've also heard of Pavlov Media in Waco. Anyone have experience?
