I've got an old car that had a fender bender. It's not worth trying to get it fixed perfectly. I just want it to be able to be driven, so I'm wanting to get it repaired as cheaply as possible. Any Waco suggestions?

We've had good luck with Edwards on La Salle. They did a good job and were very reasonable on the pricing.

Lopez Body Shop at 19th and Clay. Ask for Feliciano. Good dude.

Caliber did a good job on our car when I was rear-ended at a stop light.

I also had a good experience with Lopez Body Shop. Definitely a "Mom and Pop" operation, but they did great work at a reasonable price. Don't be put off by the sketchy building or neighborhood......super nice folks.

Crow & Roberts was not fast but they were good.

I've had good experiences at the Buick dealership. I had a few people hit me and they are tied in with State Farm. State Farm referred me. They did a great job..

Richard Karr was a good experience for us.

Devorsky body shop in bellmead. Just looks at your car, gives you an awesome estimate($2500 or $7000 at Maacocash price).

Always deal in cash

JR's custom and collision. Has done a ton of work for my family and has always been top notch.

Because I was asked to let you know what happened, here it is. Because I was dealing with a 10 year old vehicle that we just needed to get fixed enough to be driveable and to look OK, I chose Lopez Body Shop. Our experience with Feliciano and his son Oscar was, in a word, fantastic. They did a super job at a very reasonable price. I can't speak one way or the other on what kind of a job they would do if you had a new car and needed perfection, but in my case they went so far and beyond what could be expected.

An example: a portion of the grill had to be replaced rather than repaired, and the same was true of one door handle. Feliciano priced what new parts from the dealer would cost (way too much!), and then personally went to what I call a car junk yard, and found what he needed off a wrecked vehicle at a fraction of the cost.

I've written several reviews for various kinds of businesses over the years, but I've never before written one that I would give marks as high as those I would give for Lopez Body Shop.

That's why they're my guys! I've raised a few teenagers and needed some ranch trucks to just keep on living, and they are perfect for that. They also do great work if you want it returned to "as new" condition.

Thanks for the update, sounds like you found exactly what you needed! I've got a similar situation to deal with (thanks to Wal-Mart parking lot ) and will be checking with the guys at Lopez to see what they can do to fix my rear fender. I'm expecting cheap greatness!!
