Waco will be getting its first-ever Sprouts location next year, according to a new Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing. It address is listed as 4633 S Jack Kultgen Expressway, Suite 104, which is about seven miles south of Baylor University. (Central Texas Marketplace)

"Sprouts Farmers Market is excited to bring our selection of fresh, natural and organic food and products to Waco!" Sprouts PR said in a statement. "The new location is currently scheduled to open in late 2026."

That's cool. Between Natural Grocers, the coming Garden City, and Sprouts, that's a lot of additions to the Waco grocery market in a short period of time.

I frequented Sprouts when I lived in the D/FW area, so this is a welcomed addition to Waco. Now for Trader Joe's….

Good info. Would love to sell our products through them.

Costco would be nice.

Of course there were multiple threads over the last two years where posters "in the know" almost guaranteed one was coming…. And yet here we are still asking for one.

Well, consider that Costco has opened in Lubbock, Georgetowh, and Liberty Hill in the past few years and was showing interest at the NE corner of the 35-340 interchsnge. There was some real interest there.

True. But some of the posters were guaranteeing an announcement coming of a Costco. Even giving locations and timelines for opening.

I believe we've added 4 or 5 Mexican grocery stores too (in the last 5 or 6 years) with Mucho Gusto opening on Valley Mills.
Noooo evidence for that, babeeyyy, just maaade it up.

Central Texas Market Place does not seem to be a great place for a grocery store. Too hard to get into and out of for a place you'd need to go to weekly.

Agreed. I love Sprouts from when we lived in DFW. I was excited about this announcement but that was tempered when I saw the location.
