Imagine where each team since 2021 finishes without any injuries. zero injuries.

2021-2022 Final Four (JTT, Flagler partial, Akinjo no partial, LJ Cryer no partial)
2022-2023. Sweet 16 (Langston, JTT still never got hurt)
2023-2024. Sweet 16 (Langston still never got hurt)
2024-2025 Sweet 16 (Josh O , Langston still never got hurt --- Ormier gets to play the 4)
2025-2026 Round of 32 (Bodo Bodo, Perez, JJ White)

2026-2027, assuming one more guard rotational piece

no injuries -> Sweet 16

I basically give them one more tournament game each year with better injury luck, except this last year in which I think we are probably like a 8-9 seed again.

Lot of homer in this post. Every team after the 22 squad has been incredibly flawed injuries or not. And that's always a dumb theoretical because injuries are part of the game. Everyone deals with them.

I think without injuries the 2022 team repeats. That game where we held a Final Four-bound Villanova to 36 points was the most terrifying defensive performance I've ever witnessed. What could have been...

Agree RE: that Villanova game - don't believe I've ever seen a better 40 minutes of half court team defense in a college basketball game than that one. Sans injuries that team had a chance to be even better than the prior season's Natty squad - at least on the defensive end. Don't know if they would've repeated or not, but that team had final four potential written all over it had the bad luck with injuries, not happened.

21/22' walks to a title imo. Think they beat that Duke team with some resistance but nobody else troubles them. If Love had been healthy too (wasn't on your list), forget it.

They tied for a conference title with the eventual champs (completely hobbled) and destroyed Nova. I think the title game v Ku would have been a game they controlled but not a full blown 20 pt destruction.

The rest of the Bu teams.. a round further maybe but those teams just weren't doing much damage. This past year might still not even make the tournament.

If 21/22 would have been a natty team, recruiting may have been different as well

It is very interesting seeing it all laid out like that. I agree with you on every year honestly. Either way we will continue pushing forward with a motivated coach and staff. I will always believe in CSD.

I'm with you. I'm pro CSD until he decides to leave.

He will forever have, what is in all likelihood the greatest achievement in the history of Baylor sports until the end of time, and he's a great representative for Baylor. That's plenty for me to support him come what may unless he does something completely out of CSD character for the last 25 years.
