I saw it when it happened and it did not look good. She was taken off the court in a wheelchair. Here's a Facebook post about the injury (I don't have a FB account) It mentions something about being out for 15 months. Prayers for Odyssey

Just saw the replay on YouTube.

She came down on Cameron Brink's foot and turned the ankle pretty bad.

You just hope that it looked worse than what it was.

Maybe we'll get some good news, and it'll be similar to Taliah Scott's injury (at the time, there was speculation that Scott would possibly be out for most of the season). Thankfully, she was able to recover and be back at close to full strength in less than a month.

Odyssey's as tough as they come, so if there is any chance at a speedy recovery, you just know she'll do whatever it takes to get back on the floor.

The optimist in me hopes she's back to full strength by mid to late summer.

The article the Facebook post links to appears to be one of those AI generated click-farms. They take a real headline (Odyssey's injury) and have AI cobble together a story that usually has very little to do with the headline. Neither the Wings, ESPN, nor the WNBA has released any information on the injury, so I'd treat it as a story that we still don't know all the details about.

She was at the team practice Sunday using a scooter, did not participate. Apparently injury still being evaluated. In the meantime, JJ Quinerly will be stepping in as a replacement. Hope not a season-ending injury, as O was huge part of Wings offense.

She did not play on Tuesday against Minnesota.Box score says "DNP left ankle".

WBB posted some pics from Aces/Wings game last night. Odyssey was in a couple, no boot on foot. Injury reports show her day by day.

She has missed seven consecutive games. Still listed as day-to-day. In other news, JJ Quinerly from WV was waived by Wings on June 14.

Given her recent history of lighting up after the All-Star break for the teams that have signed her on short-term contracts, the Wings may be keeping her out as long as possible to heal.
