This weekend was the inaugural National Telays Championships in Fayetteville. Our women finished third in the team standings in the loaded field with 26 points trailing only Kentucky and Arkansas. The spring medley won and broke the school record with the 7th best time in NCAA history!

The men finished way back with 11 points. Our 4x4 had three great legs including a blazing 44.01 anchor split by Wil London. Our 3:03 was only behind Florida and Arkansas and Wil came from fifth and almost caught everyone.

Thanks for the report, GB...

Without a quality fourth leg on the 4X400, somewhere between a 3:03 and a 3:02 may be about as good as we are capable, and that isn't bad. That 44.03 by Wil is getting into super elite territory.

I am pleased with the Baylor women this season. They seem to be in good health heading into the critical stage of the season, and they may be ready to make a splash up ahead.

Two hours of this meet were shown on the SEC Network and will likely be shown again if any of you want to search for it.
