Unlink the Baathist forces in Iraq, the Venezuelan military and affiliated socialist militias are dispersing to plan for a protracted guerrila campaign against US forces.

The largest political party in Venezuela, United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), has affiliates in other Latin American Countries.

Neighboring Columbia is led by a left wing leader.

So guerrila forces will have friendly bases in neighboring nations to operate from (Think Vietnam/Cambodia).

From a terrain perspective, Venezuela is Afghanistan + Vietnam.

What's the plan / exit strategy?

In all seriousness, this is a bad idea, and inconsistent with Trump's noninterventionist foreign policy. That being the case, I suspect this is mostly saber rattling. He may carry out some strikes on drug targets, perhaps even a raid by special ops or two, but I highly doubt there will be any real commitment of ground forces.
