I will be participating in storytime everyweekend between tomorrow and Christmas in Frisco Texas at the public library.

It'll be a great opportunity to bring your children and grandchildren as this is a bye week.

In October, I will read Halloween stories as "Broomhilda," my drag queen name. I will also do lessons on dress up and free face paintings for children under 8.

In December, I will read stories about black baby Jesus and baby Ganesh. Many of you may not know about Jesus from birth to 7 years old. This is an opportunity to learn about black Jesus as a toddler.

As always, we will serve Halal foods and have amazing fellowship.

Mitch has a really good program, but for those who live far away or just get the heebie jeebies around black deities, I've got another that will be helpful for the kiddos. There are several events over two hours that keep the children transfixed. (More on the "trans" part in a second!) It's held in Gainesville, so you can leave the tykes and head up to that big casino across the Red for a bit.

First is a workshop called "How to Help Your Dead Grandparents and Great-Grandparents Vote, and Vote Again and Again, for Democrats." We teach how to forge signatures, how to use copiers (and where the cheapest are), and how to spot the poll worker who is most likely to be sure your boxes are counted.

Next we have this ze to teach girls assigned boy at birth how to transition easily, complete with hair, cheek and lip advice:



We end with some good old-fashioned x-rated porn.

Just look for the big screens east of I-35.
