Cornyn was a joke. He got fired. Fellow repubs decided Paxton was better for the job.
If he's as blatantly corrupt as you say, then he will get arrested and we can move on.
Texas can survive a corrupt-ish politician who votes for conservative values. Texas cannot survive a liberal. You worried about one guy, when the truth is the things that Talarico would vote for would affect all Texans. You're in a war with woke ideology. You may think you are staying clean, but you're really just giving a vote to the libs.
Paxton will vote the way his constituents want, or he will get fired like Cornyn.
