A helpful reminder of God's power:

That's all you can do is pray. And if it doesn't go your way, just deal with it and give it up to God as you go forward.
I prayed hard that Steve Hilton would at least make it into the top two here in CA so that he could have a few extra months to further state his case.
And he has been working his ass off traveling to every corner of the state with his common sense message.
He's done everything a man can do. While his opposition has done nada. Except sit back in his entitlement and assumption that he's going to win anyway. If you could read his thoughts, I'm sure he's thinking, 'There are enough idiots in CA to still vote for me and keep the Dems in power.'

And it will indeed be up to Californians to make the decision.
I pray for a miracle.

But again, I equate CA to the Garden of Eden. Bad choices have destroyed it. What should be damned near paradise has been made otherwise by the choices of the people. And unfortunately those of us who vote logically and sensibly have to endure because of the votes of the ignorant.

God will either give CA one more chance by stepping in with a miraculous Hilton win, or He will just say, 'Sorry, CA. I gave you paradise, and you just couldn't handle it.'

Disappointing. I just spent several days at the Fairmont in San Francisco and while I was there visited with several friends (two Stanford buds and an SC friend) who live there. We just sat at a local bar and lamented over how such a place could be ruined. Granted San Francisco was always a bit weird, but at least it was still maintained and somewhat cared for. To take what was IMO the most beautiful city in the States and do what they did to it is criminal. Same goes for LA. Because the feel there has changed completely too.
