Not our resident leftists who ALWAYS dismiss evidence of cheating as "small", not a "large scale problem," or an "isolated incident." but don't admit it is proof our elections are being cheated in EVERY time.

I agree. That is why I am so paranoid about non citizens voting be it in large scale or small

It is like murder. One murder? five murders? It is all bad, and shouldnt happen

Anything to win is their motto. Nothing is off the table, legal or illegal. The end justifies the means to Dems. Some were brought up with more principles than that fortunately.

You're using words I'm not sure you understand. "Altering the ballots?" "Manipulating voters?"

Neither of this happened. They recruited/supported another dude's candidacy. It's clear on the ballot which is which.

As you voter id folks like to say "stop treating republicans like they are dumb." (I'm sorry, I confused that with black voters when you throw roadblocks).

That ballot is clear. The person who can't see the difference may have actually intended to vote for Peltola but couldn't read.

You are missing the point. The INTENTION was to deceive voters. The second Sullivan hated Trump and so would do anything to help get the democrat elected to help turn the senate. Let's see if he got paid for doing so.

I am confused, this is not illegal and happened before. This is ballot stacking. Where is the fraud? I dont think people understand what fraud means.

As for the paying of a candidate? It will depend on if they did and where the funds came. The GOP 2020 ghost candidate ( yes, GOP did this in FL twice, Wash state, etc...) in FL they used illegal money. The issue was campaign finance issue not the running of a ghost candidate which is protected under 1st Amendment

Revealed: Democrat operative at the center of Alaska Senate race scandal amid claims he recruited second Dan Sullivan to spoil Republican chances

By SOPHIE GABLE, US REPORTER

Published: 01:53 EDT, 30 October 2026 | Updated: 03:13 EDT, 30 October 2026

A mysterious Democrat operative who has worked behind the scenes on a slew of campaigns is in the spotlight after allegations surfaced about a scheme to spoil the Alaska Senate race.

The race has become a key one to watch this midterm cycle, as Democrat Mary Peltola hopes to flip a seat and oust incumbent Republican Dan Sullivan.

Eyebrows were raised earlier this year when another Dan Sullivan appeared on the ballot, seemingly plucked from obscurity.

Less than a week before Election Day, an investigation revealed that the coincidence was more likely a careful plot meant to confuse voters and spoil the election in Peltola's favor.

A recent investigation named Jerid Kurtz as the go-between who seemingly recruited candidates, including the 'second' Sullivan to run for Senate.

The New York Times' bombshell report prompted calls for an investigation from the Trump administration and the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

Since the news broke, Kurtz deleted his social media accounts and the website for the firm he co-owns, Wingspan Strategies.

Kurtz launched his political career after graduating from Case Western Reserve University in 2005 with a degree in Political Science and English, according to the university.

So my question is whether the people who came up with the idea and evidently made it happen could be analyzed to see if they have two functioning neurons to rub together.

They guy who came up with this would never work for me again.

It reminds me of the Nigerian Prince scam. If you'd put as much effort into the job as you do the scam, you'd be further ahead.

In a rank choice voting state, shenanigans have less of an impact.

If Republicans had done this, the national left-wind media would be having histrionics and telling us how this keeps black and brown people from voting.

This is more than a dirty trick - it is actually a threat to democracy (which we thought the left was concerned about).

Put in the context of the fake hysteria over the Vivek ad just makes it worse.

And it is egregious in Alaska, but they're also doing similar things in several other states - recruiting Democrats to run as independents.

"If Republicans had done this..."

Republican PACs are currently the main source of support for a candidate with the same last name as the Dem in the Nevada governor's race, I'm sure that's totally innocent. Republicans literally did the same thing as this in Florida in 2024, where their guy won by less than 40 votes (the plant candidate got a couple thousand).

I personally think it's hilarious, listening to all the shameless hypocrites wail about it without even a hint of self reflection is pure comedy, and the ranked choice voting in Alaska makes it a non-issue anyway.

If by "done this," you mean trying to confuse voters about the authenticity of the people behind the positions, then I am sure that you are upset that the Republican Women's Club is trying to confuse voters on the trans issue. Oh wait, on that thread you don't see an issue.

I get that politics is a blood sport. Candidates and advocates will go too far. The Alaska Senate campaign and the Trans mailer are both examples of "going too far." They are also both out in the open. Voters can decide how much weight they give to the bad conduct.

So are you okay with using dirty tricks to undermine democracy?

I don't have talking points about random state elections, but I would oppose this tactic regardless of party. The differences is GOP do not constantly go into ******ed histrionics about THREAT TO DEMOCRACY and then threaten democracy - that is hypocrisy.

2. You do not know who sent the trans mailer.

3. You're still avoiding the question - why do you object to the trans mailer being sent? I did not mischaracterize the group's beliefs ... in fact it was a perfectly printed facsimile of the group's web site ... so what is your objection - do you oppose the group's views? The group presents a mainstream Democrat position, so what do you find objectionable ... the fact that more people might learn about the Democrat's groomer agenda?
