I think everyone should get the flu shot, but a few things to note:

The flu shot has been natoriously ineffective this flu season, so those people you cited could have had the flu shot and it just wasn't effective. Neither story says they didn't get the flu shot this year.

I don't know sht about Gloria, but it's my understanding her husband is actually the one that has had communication in the past with Trump.

Regardless of who has talked with or advised Trump, it's not like Trump is actively seeking the advice of these nuts on flu shot related matters. Why are you associating her comments with Trump? I don't even think they are actively involved in the Trump administration, and certainly not in a major capacity.

I will tell him, you don't need a flu shot. You need the proper medicine and to be treated in a timely manner when you have flu symptoms. Most people wait too long. The flu shot helps somewhere between 10 and 30%, what are the other 70% supposed to do? If the flu shot was a strong preventative, I would get behind it but it's not. If you have flu symptoms or a high fever, seek medical attention. It's not that hard.

I will tell him, you don't need a flu shot. You need the proper medicine and to be treated in a timely manner when you have flu symptoms. Most people wait too long. The flu shot helps somewhere between 10 and 30%, what are the other 70% supposed to do? If the flu shot was a strong preventative, I would get behind it but it's not. If you have flu symptoms or a high fever, seek medical attention. It's not that hard.

I know of a pediatrician who did not vaccinate any of their kids but ask every patient about vaccinations and flu shots. Boosts office profit margins and most insurance covers them completely
