Team Notes (8/1)
As Colt noted, the team will be practicing tonight at McLaneWe'll have access to our usual time and will film thenThe Chip Kelly influence of screens to RBs will be a great feature for JaMycal Hasty, Terence Williams, Trestan Ebner, John Lovett, Josh Fleeks, Stanley Hackett, and Craig Williams in this offense. Tony Nicholson will also benefit from slip screensBlake Lynch is having a great campJared Atkinson is healthy and starting to show his athleticismTrevon Lewis is out with a tweaked knee and likely to redshirt. It could be worse, but I haven't gotten confirmation beyond it being drained and examinedOL really needs work past the front end guys, which was to be expected. If 3 of the front line went down, Ryan Miller could handle center or guard, but hope BU doesn't lose an OT at this point. Josh Malin is making strides, but still learning. Has the tenacity for it, but until lights come on he'll have some questions. Henry Klinge is picking up the offense, but he's still raw as a freshman. Newman, Moore, and Anderson will be ready for short periods if called upon, but hope to redshirt at least two of them.Khalil Keith is still waiting, but everything points to him being on campus for the start of schoolDL is legit with athleticism and buying into the new coaching. Smith and Nance want to play at the next level and are being dedicated to learning the playbook and new positions.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
