A few brief recruiting notes
We have several videos coming this week from Under Armour yesterday, but wanted to pass along a few notes of my own before those begin to release. - Gabe Hall has said he's looking at Baylor and TCU, but I don't see TCU is a serious threat to land him. There are some things there that lead me to that conclusion, but they aren't for the message boards. That makes this a Baylor recruitment unless Texas A&M gets involved and offers. For now, Texas A&M is chasing bigger fish of the same mold. - Harrison White is a Baylor vs. Wisconsin battle based on what I have been told. He is viewed in the mold of Rob Saulin and James Lynch in the fact that he could easily project to a number of different positions by the time he gets on campus, similar to Brant Banks of the 2019 class. He's a priority for the staff and they aren't scared about taking "big athletes" without defined positions like other schools can be. - Baylor has cooled on Katy OL Cole Birmingham for the time being. A few guys are out in front of him right now on the OL list in a class that is going to be small on the OL. This isn't to say they won't revisit him in the future, I actually expect them too, but they aren't pushing him for a commitment or anything similar right now.- "In the mix" is the best way to report anything on LB Anfernee Orji. There is some confidence in Baylor's chances, but I still look at the Vanderbilt situation and think he ends up there with his brother. Baylor has been on him hard and have put themselves in position better than any other school than Vandy. - Jacob Zeno was on campus yesterday and should be back for the spring game. Florida picked up a commitment from a QB recently and that could help things at least slightly as Florida was one of the big competitors. - I wouldn't be surprised to see Tyrone Brown go ahead and make his commitment, but I wouldn't be surprised if he waits a little while either. He had a good visit yesterday. - Preston Wilson was on campus yesterday and I'm not sure that he ends up with an offer. He's one who is viewed more as a G/C longterm and the staff prefers guys who always have the chance to play tackle and then slide in when needed.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.
