Baylor is 1-0, and that’s ultimately the most important thing following their escape from San Marcos on Saturday. So before turning the page towards this weekend’s home opener vs. Texas Southern, here’s a look at the good, the bad, and the ugly from the Bears’ season debut. 

The Good 

The run game — Jeff Grimes’ wide zone offense made it clear from the outset they were going to establish the run game above all else.

TXST prematurely kicked a FG from the 2 yardline because incompetent coach didn't know how to call 4 plays for 6 yards and a pick 6 start of game jitters so 11 points going back the other way plus a safety in garbage time that never actually would have happened ever if coach ever rehearsed a fumble roosky type play. Shoulda been 34-31. Don't worry you'll feel better when the bobcats beat irrelevant FIU 38-21 this weekend
