This time a year ago, Baylor had just earned their second and final win of Dave Aranda's debut season, edging Kansas State 32-31 on a walk-off field goal from John Mayers. 

The mild celebration was short-lived as a loss to Oklahoma, followed by a merciless beatdown at the hands of Oklahoma State, at McLane Stadium no less, finally ended a uniquely difficult 2-7 season.
