The Quarterback Decision Looming for Dave Aranda is a Big One

In a lot of ways, the 2021 and 2022 Baylor quarterback battles were very similar. Jacob Zeno looked to be guy in the early part of the spring a year ago, but steadily declined while Gerry Bohanon emerged with major mental development and work ethic in a new offensive scheme.

Bohanon won the job outright in the summer and fall and Zeno stuck it out in fall camp and early season before it was clear that Blake Shapen was the clear No. 2 behind Bohanon.
