He needs to answer some questions about the linebacker and safety coaching. Technique and tackling are noticeably worse than last year

Absolutely agree - it's a trend that hasn't been addressed.. Stop with the softball style questions....not when they are being paid millions of dollars...

Do you think they're being coached differently? This is a talent/ experience issue, not a coaching one. We just have too many young players who are learning on the fly right now and are playing timid and unsure of themselves. This reminds me a lot of the 2018 defense. That one got a lot better the next year with a lot of the same players. Same thing with the 2020 and '21 units as well really.

We have a new linebackers and safety coach this year, so yes, the coaching they are getting is different to a degree. I hope that you are right about the prognosis for the team. We lose almost the entire offensive and defensive line next year so to me it seems like that will be a rebuild as well

The safeties coach is also the special teams coach….Ronnie Wheat
