If you're hoping for more clarity at QB, you'll have to wait. Doesn't seem like Nixon's playing coy, either. This is a true QB competition. My bet is there's not a true starter until Duke.

It's good to know Rhule actually has a weakness, he's a 'slob'. I was beginning to think that guy was just too good at everything. So glad we have Nixon on the staff too.

Thanks for posting all of these, I'm sure most of us forgot what it was like to hear from the players after last season.

"We have more of an NFL-style passing game" probably gives us a clue on who will be the starting QB. It's still a question only because Zach actually has to prove he can master the playbook and transfer it to the field. As long as he has the mental game down (and he does), he'll be running the show.

I'm very impressed by everything I've seen from Coach Nixon (of course we'll have to wait until the season starts to evaluate the all-important play calling aspect of the job). Nixon appears to have a clear focus regarding his offensive philosophy and how he wants to implement it. He and his staff do a great deal of teaching on the field. The finer points of the game are emphasized consistently.

I am very interested in seeing how the NFL-style spread philosophy translates to Baylor football.
