30 for 30: #29 Davion Hall

Safety, Davion Hall (6-2, 215) | Liberty Eylau (TX) High School

As a former receiver Hall's ball skills will be excellent as a safety. I know there was always concerns with his hands, but I promise you they wouldn't have been as much of an issue with more targets and reps within the offense.

There is a reason he played for Baylor and played a lot on the offensive side of the ball early in his career. He was dependable mentally and wasn't afraid to be a physical blocker. Phil Snow needs players at safety who he can trust to make the calls needed. Hall is listed as a starter for a reason.

My biggest concern with Hall will how he stays healthy. Dating back to his senior year of high school there has never been an instance when he wasn't at least a little banged up. That's not a knock against Hall but more about bringing a misfortune to the front. If he can stay healthy, with his size and athletic ability, I believe Snow can turn him into an NFL safety.

If you've ever met Davion you will know this: He isn't going to say much, but you know immediately how loyal and, for a lack of a better phrase, how sweet of a heart he really a has. As a leader in the locker room and on the field, he is ideal for this team. He will be a guy who has all of his teammate pulling for him.

I hope Davion can get Baylor some INTs.

Nothing drives a stake in the heart of an opponent like an INT and a runback for TD.

Sic 'em Davion!!!

Just need DH to stay healthy and stay consistent. Need his skills desperately back there.
