The Monday Revue — A Must Win, Now What?

Not only did Baylor lose a game that I and others proclaimed a must-win, they did so in an embarrassing, non-competitive fashion. For a fanbase that hasn’t seen an FBS win at home in nearly a year, it was deja vu, and I think it likely broke the back of the Baylor fanbase.

One week ago today, in an edition of the Revue titled “A Glimmer of Hope,” I wrote that the UCF win “won’t mean nothing if they lose to Tech at home this coming Saturday night ... Few games in football truly are must-win. But I think for a variety of reasons, this is a must-win; equally as much for the fanbase as for the team itself.”
