Wash...rinse....repeat. Same answers for six weeks. The difference tonight is that Dave looks defeated. As a person I feel terrible for him because I truly believe he is a really good coach and man. Unfortunately, he's learning to be a HC at our expense. You can't be the same team you were in week 1 that you are in week 6 and expect to keep your job. And by the way....some on this board are over-estimating the buyout. We learned from the Briles fiasco and the buyout should not be a hurdle.

The Briles scandal? That was the most horrific devastating scandal in the history of all sports at any level.

I am so tired of we have great practices but play like crap on Sat. Either he is lying or this team just goes-------( don't even know the word) on Saturday. Help

This team has played 1 good quarter of football in the last 12 weeks. That is partly the players fault. They simply aren't as big, athletic, strong and competitive as their opponents in some cases and aren't winning their match ups. However, the coaches should recognize that and design schemes to put their players in positions to succeed, but instead, they continue to do the same things over and over with predictable results. This staff is terrible. These players are mostly G5 caliber. Baylor is back…

Aranda doesn't have a care in the world. Win lose or draw he's getting paid. Keep him, he gets paid. Fire him, he still gets paid.
You give someone guaranteed money that is life changing what motivation do they have to push hard? When You're already getting the money why would you work your A** off recruiting and studying film when you can collect that check and hangout with your friends and family?

Exactly, but this staff doesn't seem to be able to understand that. They keep lying to themselves and the team about how good they look all week which leads to less than ideal effort which then leads to an unprepared looking team on Saturday. It's a vicious cycle that will never end until DA decides that he's tired of it doesn't look like that's the case yet.

I've seen both units in action so this is not hyperbolic…UMHB has a better offensive line than Baylor. What do you have to say about that, Coach?
