Cincy has a really solid defense; that’s the sense you get from watching their games, and it is backed up by all the advanced stats. They’re certainly not great, but they’re solid. They’re 43rd in SP+, 48th in FEI, are holding opposing teams to a very solid 36% overall success rate, and giving up an OK 5.5 yards per play.

Statistically, their big bugaboo is big plays. They’re really good on standard downs but haven’t been as good on passing downs.
