No. 4 Baylor Suffers First Loss of Season 87-66 in Kansas

- The No. 4 Baylor women’s basketball team suffered its first loss of the season on Wednesday night, falling to Kansas, 87-66, at Allen Fieldhouse.
- For the third-consecutive game, Baylor shot 80% or better from the free throw line and have made 38-of-43 in that stretch.
- Darianna Littlepage-Buggs went a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line and finished with a team-high 16 points. She added six rebounds and dished out an assist as well.
- For the second-straight game, and fifth time this season, Aijha Blackwell led the Bears on the glass, grabbing 11 boards.
- In the lowest assist output of the season by the Bears, Yaya Felder dished out a team-leading four assists and she has led BU in the category four times this year.
- Sarah Andrews has hit at least two 3-pointers in all but one game this season and she was the only Bear to sink more than one from range against the Jayhawks.
- For the team-leading seventh time this season, Dre’Una Edwards recorded the most steals, finishing with three of Baylor’s seven. She also went a perfect 2-for-2 from the charity stripe.
- Three Bears – Littlepage-Buggs, Andrews and Bella Fontleroy – logged a team-leading 29 minutes.
