Can Matt Jones Settle in at Inside Linebacker in His 6th Year?

Baylor’s inside linebacker play was not good last year. It must improve this Fall.

As I’m fond of saying, it’s hard to play good defense without good inside linebacker play. If you look at any solid-to-great defense, you’ll almost assuredly find good inside linebackers. I don’t think that’s necessarily true of defensive fronts or defensive backs.
