 Baseball

• Baseball finished its season at 22-31 overall and 10-20 in the league, its most Big 12 wins since 2021.

• This is the 52nd consecutive season that the Bears have won at least 20 games.

• Three Bears were honored with All-Big 12 recognition, including junior DH Wesley Jordan (Second Team), sophomore LHP Ethan Calder (Honorable Mention) and senior INF Cole Posey (Honorable Mention).

• BU will compete in the 2025 College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field against Auburn, Ohio State and Oregon State on Feb. 28-March 2 of next season.

Men’s Golf

• Baylor finished fifth at the Chapel Hill Regional, advancing to it’s second-straight NCAA Championship and the 11th in program history.

• Johnny Keefer shot a 12-under 198, setting the Baylor 54-hole scoring record, while his second-round 64 tied the lowest NCAA Postseason round in program history.

• The Bears will tee it up in the NCAA Championship beginning Friday May 24th, running through the 29th at The Omni La Costa Resort and Spa.

Women’s Golf

• BU wrapped up its season on Sunday at the NCAA Championship with a 21st-place finish.

• The Bears are one of nine teams in the country to qualify for four-straight NCAA Championships’

• While the team did not make the cut after 54 holes, BaiMai Seema played the final round as an individual en route to a tie for 28th.

• The fifth player in program history to compete as an individual in the NCAA Tournament.

• Seema notched the highest finish by a Baylor individual in the NCAA Championship since Gurleen Kaur finished tied for 28th in 2021.

 Softball

• Baylor advanced to its seventh all-time NCAA Super Regional, and first since 2017, by claiming the NCAA Lafayette Regional, taking down host No. 13 Louisiana-Lafayette twice in three games. 

• The Bears opened the Regional with a win over Ole Miss, then pounded ULL in the second game to advance to the winner’s bracket. ULL fought back from the loser’s bracket to force a deciding game, which saw the Bears top No. 13 ULL, 4-3. 

• The Bears will now advance to face No. 4 Florida in the NCAA Gainesville Super Regional, seeking their fifth NCAA WCWS berth. 

Track & Field

• BU opens the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds in Fayetteville, Ark., on Wednesday with 28 entries. The top 12 finishers from each event will advance to the NCAA DI Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Ore., the first week of June. 

• Regional competition runs Wednesday through Saturday and will be streamed by SEC Network+.

• Alexis Brown was named the Big 12 Women’s Performer of the Year for the 2024 outdoor season last Thursday after winning two conference titles in the 4x100-meter relay and the long jump. Her winning leap of 22-5 is the best by a Baylor performer in program history and the first over the 22-foot mark.
