On Tuesday, the Baylor Football program released its new uniforms for the 2024 football season. This is the first completely new design since the one’s that were released prior to the 2019 season.

It just gets worse and worse. Still really generic, still have the Heinz mustard color, still completely lacking in any distinctive feature that is unique to Baylor University. I suppose that's appropriate for where our football program currently is under Aranda. Thanks Mack and Linda

For anyone that played the old madden games, this literally looks like something you would make in the "creat a team" mode. Thank goodness for DHgate and AliExpress, because nobody is going to be paying $100 for these or whatever they're going to charge at the bookstore

Wow, something like uniforms can bring out this much negativity. Bottomline, it's not about us, it's about the players and team. If the players like it great.

I personally do not care about uni colors, although I love these in comparison to the Black or all grey that were never Baylor colors. Fact is, if Baylor was winning the B12, I would bet uniforms wouldn't even be a conversation.

Don't like them fine but keep the negativity at check or focus on some other team to tear down.

Oh good grief. Thanks for the lecture Mrs. Livingstone. This is the exact kind of stuff people say when they know their team's uniforms suck and are trying to make it the fault of the fans. Baylor is a private school that relies on strong engagement from its small fanbase. Acting like the little man fans don't matter is probably one of the reasons why our football program is in the dumps. It's a very arrogant and dangerous attitude to have.

if the team really wanted to wear swastikas on the helmets, would that be a change y'all would be behind? I don't really understand the logic that it's just about the team

Times, they are a changing…yearly. When I wore the green and gold, I had no choice in uniform, or its color. Nobody ever asked my for my opinion. There was no "I" in TEAM. A scholarship was a means for paying for an education.

Today, you can't spell TEAM without a M or an E, putting ME before team. Without ME, all you have left is TA, and it appears that all the athletes think about first is how much can I make, then how do I look. "What's in it for me"… an education isn't really that much of a drawing card nowadays, like it was back when.

I'm just glad they didn't pick a uniform that makes them look like a pickle with arms and legs running around on the field.

I like them.

Many of the best and cleanest uniforms in the college game (Auburn, LSU, Ohio State, Washington etc., utilize this exact same design. It looks good in any color combination -- ours included.

Add some stripes to the helmets and these are about as good as you can do with these colors.

I think it is a huge improvement. Love the stripes on the pants and the sleeves.

As far as colors go... these are our school colors... if you want Notre Dame Gold, go to ND or UCLA.

The only thing I would change would be Baylor across the chest.

Exactly my first thought. Packers alternate or practice jersey. They look goofy to me. I know we're trying to memory hole the Briles years, but why can't we bring those jerseys back? Those gold chrome helmets were awesome!

We're the oldest university in Texas and we continually have changed uniforms and fight songs. UT & A&M have same uniforms and fight song and traditions forever. I know their fight songs and uniforms better than ours. We haven't even settled one our green & gold. We've had signature "Here come the Bears" and "When the Saints coming marching in" for years and even (for some reason) the "Tennessee Waltz" at the end of games. Got used to all that and then it was like we're the newest school instead of the oldest. We should have the most Iron clad traditions, colors, songs etc of anybody. Like, thank God, the Baylor Good 'Ol Baylor Line.

Better? Marginally! How do they keep messing this up. Green and Vegas Gold and be done. Why sprinkle in white? I'm not aware of white being a Baylor color. All the hype for this!

Do you know for a fact that the team likes the new uniforms? I can guarantee that regardless of record I would despise the mustard yellow, it is completely hideous. Couldn't imagine buying a jersey or t-shirt in mustard yellow.

Mustard yellow is not our color! Vegas gold is.
