It was a tale of two units in Salt Lake City as Baylor’s revamped Aranda-led defense kept the Bears in the game despite a near-no-show performance from the offense. What did we learn? What do we build on from here? Let’s dive in. 


A Defense Which Never Waivered

Let’s start with the good — Baylor’s defense was fantastic against Utah. 

They finished the game, allowing an incredible 27% success rate and holding Utah to 4.97 yards per play.
