Source: Aranda Purchases Suite Access for 2013-2014 Championship Teams
Head coach Dave Aranda has paid for former Baylor football players who played on the Bears’ 2013 and 2014 Big 12 Championship teams to have access to McLane Stadium’s brand new end zone suites for Saturday’s home contest against TCU, sources tell SicEm365.
One source confirmed that Aranda is fully covering the costs for all players who attend “out of his own pocket.”
Baylor is set to officially honor the back-to-back Big 12 Championship teams during the game Saturday. Before the contest, former players in attendance are invited to join the BU freshmen in running the Baylor Line. Each player will receive an honorary Baylor Line jersey.
The 2013 and 2014 Big 12 Championship teams combined for a 22-4 overall record and won the program’s first two Big 12 Championships.
Baylor and TCU will kick off at 7 p.m. CT, and it will be aired on ESPN2. Fans are officially encouraged to wear black to match the football team’s new anthracite uniforms for the 2024 season.
