Redshirt sophomore infielder Jack Little and redshirt sophomore first baseman/outfielder Gavin Brzozowski have entered the transfer portal, according to D1 Baseball’s transfer tracker.
Little started 41 contests for head coach Mitch Thompson’s Bears this season, mostly at first base. After starting the year on a torrid pace (10-for-20 with three extra-base hits), Little tailed off as the year went on, going 5-for-42 at the plate in April; he held a .159 batting average and .284 on-base percentage in conference play.
Among players with at least 55 at-bats, Little had the lowest batting average (.221) and on-base percentage (.337) on the team. He was tied for fourth in home runs (6) but struck out (57) in roughly a third of his at-bats (155).

Originally from Katy, Texas, Little started his collegiate career at Wichita State and earned All-AAC Freshman Team honors before transferring to Baylor. Little missed all of the 2024 season with a shoulder injury.
Meanwhile, Brzozowski played in 27 contests this season with 15 starts, boasting a .246 batting average and a .375 on-base percentage. He tallied four extra-base hits and 12 RBIs.
The Mansfield native began his collegiate career at Northeast Texas Community College but didn’t play due to injury. After transferring to Baylor before the 2023 season, Brzozowski hit .247 with five home runs and 20 RBIs as a redshirt freshman. Brzozowski played in just one game in 2024 before missing the remainder of the year due to a knee injury.
