Opinion: How 2025 Could Make Baylor the Big 12's Standard

If Baylor goes out and wins the Big 12 in 2025, does it change how this program is viewed? It probably would, but it probably shouldn’t. It is the type of season that moves Baylor from being a somewhat of an afterthought in the conference, rightfully or wrongfully, to being the program others are chasing.

It shifts the conversation from “Baylor can be good when things line up” to “Baylor is built to last.
