Baylor junior defensive back Carl Williams IV continues to make progress in his recovery from a meniscus injury that has been lingering, and both he and head coach Dave Aranda remain confident he’ll be ready when the Bears open the season against Auburn.

“I’ll be 100% by the season opener,” Williams said after the Bears’ recent scrimmage. “It’s just about getting it feeling good.
