Aranda Addresses Fan Frustration, Retention Decision as Baylor Seeks Bowl Eligibility

Less than 36 hours after President Dr. Linda A. Livingstone gave head coach Dave Aranda a vote of confidence, the Bears were blown out 41–17 at Arizona in Tucson. It marked the third time this fall Baylor has lost by more than three touchdowns.

The Bears entered this year with high expectations to compete for a conference championship and a College Football Playoff appearance, but have fallen flat this season, further widening the divide between Aranda and the fanbase.

Please just do the right thing after the houston game and resign! Do what you know Linda and the BOR should do. Do what 95% of the fans want. Do what is right! How can you come back after the blowback that has taken place. Listen to your wife and get out.

If the returning players really want to come back with Dave, then let it be. We'll see how it goes.

I hope they really mean it and give it their all next season. I'm a bit worried about how many will possibly bail. They have one more season to do it their way, like Burger King.
