A Measuring Stick Week: Where Baylor Baseball Stands After Series Loss in Stillwater

Sixth toughest schedule in the country.

That should start paying dividends soon (we get better because we played better) or it's an indicator we will be sitting at home come tournament time (both conference and NCAA) because we just aren't a good enough team. Time will tell.

8 conference series left; based on what we've seen from BU so far I'd call 5 of them 'winnable'. Those being BYU and TCU at home, and Houston, Cincy, Utah on the road. The 3 series BU is most likely not winning are Tech and UCF at home and at ASU. You'd think, at minimum, the goal should be to split these 24 games (8 series). 10 wins can come from winning (2-1) the easier 5 series I noted, then stealing a couple games from the other 3 series would put you at 12-12. Not great, but hopefully doable from this current bunch of Bears.

Just gotta hope for some development to show up, some more guys getting in a groove.
