Can Dawson Pendergrass Be Baylor’s Every-Down Bell Cow in 2026?

Redshirt junior Dawson Pendergrass is back on the field practicing with the Bears this spring with the hopes of being Baylor’s leader on and off the field in Khenon Hall’s running back room.

Retrospectively, Pendergrass’s foot injury last fall camp that forced him out for the season was a major blow to the offense, especially as Bryson Washington became notably limited in nearly every game he played, and was an obvious shell of the 2024 Washington.
