The transfer portal period for head coach Mitch Thompson and Baylor baseball has, for the most part, wrapped up. While the Bears appear to mostly be betting on internal development for the batting order, the same thing can’t be said about the pitching side of things.

Baylor’s losing nearly two-thirds of last year's innings, and as a response, added four transfer pitchers, five junior college arms and four freshmen.
