The Baylor softball team entered this offseason on the heels of an NCAA Regional final appearance in 2026 with aspirations for more.
And Baylor could not have done a better job of keeping around key pieces from last year’s squad, with notables like pitcher Peyton Tanner, third baseman Kaygen Marshall and many other starters coming back for 2027.
The few portal exits they had were from players who either struggled for consistency or playing time.
