Non-conference is closed. Baylor is 2-1. The Bears lost 17-16 to Auburn in Atlanta, beat Prairie View A&M 44-3 and beat Louisiana Tech 36-19. Colorado comes to McLane on Saturday to open Big 12 play. The useful part of the first three weeks is not any one snap. It is the list of things that still look real, and the list of things that only looked real against the wrong opponent.
