WACO, TX - Second seeded Baylor (32-1) defeated 15 seed Grambling (19-14) 96-46 on Friday in Waco at the Ferrell Center to advance to the second round of the NCAA tournament.

I would guess that Kalani in the 7th grade was taller than any player on Grambling's team.

Did Grambling bring its pep band?
Yes. It was odd hearing them playing warm up scales just like every other band. Haven't broken into the funkadelic groove yet.

As long as we keep the ball above shoulder level, Grambling can't reach it. But we aren't exactly shooting lights out so far.

There is just such a huge disparity between the Top 16 women's programs and the rest. Yes, there's an occasional upset but for the most part the Top 16 usually cruise through the first two rounds by blowout margins.
