Baylor RS freshman DL Cole Maxwell out for 2018 season

According to David Smoak of ESPN Central Texas, Baylor redshirt freshman defensive lineman Cole Maxwell will be miss the 2018 season with an ACL injury.

The Allen (TX) High School product was part of Baylor's 2017 recruiting class and was likely to be lower on the depth rotation behind senior Ira Lewis, juniors Bravvion Roy, Tyrone Hunt, Michael Johnson, and sophomore James Lynch

Baylor opens the 2018 season against Abliene Christian on Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. CT at McLane Stadium.
